The MINItank Downpipe Diverter provides a simple yet effective solution for the collection of rainwater from your roof and into your MINItank.
The Diverter itself is 108mm x 103mm and, as such, can accommodate both a rectangular (up to 100mm wide) and circular (up to 100mm in diameter) downpipe. It works by collecting the bulk of the water flowing through the downpipe and funneling it, through a tube, into the body of the MINItank. Once the tank is full, the Downpipe Diverter then allows any excess water to be redirected back down the downpipe (this is done in order to prevent tank overflow).
To install the unit simply cut out a small section of downpipe and insert the Diverter in between the resulting two pieces. Attach the connector (included with the Downpipe Diverter) to your MINItank, connect the Diverter tube to the connector and you are done. It's that simple!
